Upcycle Thrift Workshop (21+ only)

Attend a workshop hosted by the owner of Art Up Your Life, Krystal Dyer herself.

THIS WORKSHOP IS 21+ ONLY.

This is a DIY art workshop where attendees get to be a kid again but as an adult. Remember cutting up magazines as a kid? Well, in this workshop, each artist will choose a thrift store painting (provided by Art Up Your Life) and then everyone will flip through adult and nature magazines to cut out images and glue them into your thrift store paintings, taking something old and making it new. Scissors, and Xacto style knives provided, as well as magazines but you are welcome to bring your own as well.  

This workshop is not the typical step by step instructional experience but rather a free-flowing vibe, allowing guests to mingle and network in a relaxed atmosphere.

Normally, during workshops, the gallery is open to the public, but this workshop will be treated like a private event due to the nature of some of the magazines. Also, the gallery asks that everyone be 21+ for this class, due to the nature of some of the magazines, and due to sharp tools. Thank you.
